San Diego County, CA — Today Diane Harkey announced receiving the endorsement of the Carlsbad Police Officers’ Association (CPOA) in her campaign for the 49th Congressional District.
In the endorsement, CPOA President Ursula Patton-Truebe stated, “Diane Harkey has a strong record on public safety, and we know she understands the challenges that law enforcement faces when it comes to keeping our community safe. We’re confident she’ll continue to be an effective advocate in Congress for public safety, and we are proud to endorse her.”
Public safety strongly supported Diane Harkey in the campaign to replace Congressman Darrell Issa. Previously, Harkey announced endorsements from Sheriff Sandra Hutchens, the Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association, the Orange County Coalition of Police and Sheriffs’, the Deputy Sheriffs Association of San Diego, and San Diego Police Officers’ Association.
