Former U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs Anthony Principi Endorses Diane Harkey for Congress

CARLSBAD, CA — Anthony Principi, Former U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs under President George W. Bush, has endorsed Diane Harkey for Congress in the 49th District.

“I support Diane Harkey for Congress because she is an experienced leader who will protect taxpayers and focus on public and national safety,” said Secretary Anthony Principi. “I also appreciate Diane’s commitment to Veterans ¬†and members of our Armed Services. Diane shares my belief that those who serve our country deserve not just our respect, but also our full support.”

Harkey was one of the founders of the Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group, helping with coordination and organization, providing aid for those deployed and their families.

“Veterans affairs has always and will always be a top priority and I will continue to advocate on behalf of those who gave their lives for our Country,” said Diane. “I am humbled by Former Secretary Principi’s support and will fight for better treatment for Veterans.”
